After studying Fine Art at West Surrey College of Art and Design, Mike spent several rears designing and making furniture and board games which he sold at Camden Market in London. During this time he kept painting and sculpting, having studios around the old Lanes area of Brighton. A desire for change lead to a move to Penzance in 1992 where he set up a juggling shop and taught thousands of locals and visitors how to improve their co-ordination. After a spell of working in a well known Cornish Gallery, Mike began to exhibit his own work regularly and has been painting full time ever since then. Mike has a strong following of collectors both in the UK and abroad.
